William "Larry" Thomas

William "Larry" Thomas, 84, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Stuart, FL. He was born on August 6, 1939, in Owensboro, KY, and was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa C. Thomas, originally from Shamokin, PA. Larry was the son of Gerald and Beverly Thomas. His siblings included brothers Jerry and Michael, and sisters Martha, Beverly Lou, Marcia, and Mary. Larry and Terry lived in Downingtown, PA, for 47 years, and were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Larry was a proud veteran having served honorably in the US Marine Corps. He worked in finance for much of his career, and was also an entrepreneur, owning several businesses including two restaurants and a semi-truck dealership. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies at Ingleside Golf Course and rooting for the hometown Philadelphia Eagles, 76'ers, and Phillies.

Larry's big heart, gentle nature, quick wit, and infectious laugh will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter Catherine Fisher and her son Graeme, both of Stuart, FL, and his son Chris, daughter-in-law Terri, and their children Lauren, Erin, and William of Fairborn, OH.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 with visitation starting at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am at the Stuart Chapel of Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, 961 S.
