Bill was born in Albany, NY on January 19, 1953, to Doris Cole Kalohn and Frederick William Kalohn Jr. He grew up in Schenectady NY, and graduated from Linton High School.
During his high school years, he caddied at the Mohawk Club and, in the winter, worked at Empire Lanes as a machine technician. He then attended Rochester Institute of Technology and studied Printing Technology. While there, he was a member of the TKE fraternity and kept in touch with brothers up until his final days. He just recently completed a trip to Cuba with his frat brother George Conlan. After RIT, then began a career working in various printing industries from National Can and printing companies in the Boston Area, when he lived in Randolph, Mass. After he tired of the printing rat race, he began a career as a caddy at The County Club in Brookline, Mass, in the summer, and then went to Florida where he worked at various clubs, including Calusa Pines in Naples, Florida, and Loxahatchee in Jupiter, Florida.
He made Florida his full-time home about 10 years ago. Bill enjoyed golfing and going to the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass with longtime friends from Schenectady. He also enjoyed the bar/restaurant scene in the Jupiter area, including Johnny Mangros Tiki Bar and Grill, Renegades, and The Twisted Tuna.
He is survived by his brothers Jim (Pam) and John (Tom) and many cousins.
