Sandra K. Corn

Stuart, FL, formerly of Lansing, MI

On July 3, 2024, Sandra was called home to be with her Lord. Born January 23, 1936 in Lansing, Michigan, she was a graduate of Eastern High School and a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She resided in Lansing until 1982, at which time, she moved to Stuart, Florida. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for 42 years, she served on the Alter Guild, Ushered, and was a Greeter. She loved her church and could be seen twice a week studying scripture in the beautiful Courtyard at Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was so at peace there. Her joyfulness, love of life and appreciation of every little thing, no matter how small, was exemplified in her genuine caring of others. As a mother, she was loving, caring, and always there for her children. Her cherished treasures were not only her family but her many friends in Florida and Michigan with whom she maintained friendships until her end. She loved fully, lived simply, and laughed often.

 Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Mark L. Corn (2016). She is survived by her daughter (Wendy Corn-Griffith), son-in-law (Dr. Grif Griffith), son (Cameron Corn), and daughter-in-law (Nancee Greene-Corn). 

 Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 3rd @ 11:30 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 2450 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34996. (Burial will be at a future date in Lansing, Michigan at the Evergreen Cemetery.)
