Sally Anne Rice

Sally Anne Rice, 96, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Palm City, FL under the tender loving care of Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born on November 29, 1927, in Lakewood, Ohio to Jack Ross and Viola (nèe Ault) Ross.  

Sally was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was an outgoing person and loved meeting new people.  She also loved to travel and loved giraffes.   

She is survived by her daughters Rena Hines and her husband Lester of Port St. Lucie, FL and Evelyn Hurtt and her husband Mel of Granite Bay, CA.  She is also survived by her son-in-law Bob Thompson and 10 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Thompson of Collinsville, MS and brother and sister-in-law James and Sharida Rice. Sally will be greatly missed.
