Phyllis (Taylor Jayne) Williams, of Palm City FL, passed away at home on November 24, 2024. She was born in Frankfort, KY on August 6, 1940. She is survived by her husband Ed Williams, daughters Pam (Russ) Farnsworth, Bev Clifford (ThunderKloud), Jackie Bennett, grandchildren Josh Clifford, Nik Bennett (Becky), Taylor (Sailor) Belew, 6 great-grandchildren, brother David (Jenny) Manning, a niece, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Ted Taylor, mother Mary Edith Brown, brother Bill Taylor, niece Amy Taylor, and son-in-law Billy ThunderKloud.
Phyllis was a strong, generous, wonderful woman. Her faith in God was incredibly strong and the foundation of her life. Her family was the most important thing to her. She made great sacrifices to raise her three daughters as a single mother. She was an amazing influence on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had the greatest sense of humor (extending even into her final days) and was always such a fun person! She was a steadfast and loyal friend to those privileged with that title.
Phyllis started her career in radio/TV broadcast in 1968. She worked at WSIX in Nashville for 20 years and was considered the Queen of Nashville sales reps. She was the number one broadcast sales rep in Nashville for 19 years, billing a third of the station's revenue each year. After moving to Palm City, she worked at Clear Channel West Palm Beach for eight years.
At Phyllis' request, there will not be a service. If you would like, you may make a donation in her memory to the Humane Society of Treasure Coast, Palm City, FL or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
