Charles (Chuck) Richard Tucker

The Tucker family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Charles Richard Tucker, of Rome, Georgia, after a prolonged illness. 

Charles proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he went on to build a 50-year career in the insurance industry.

Charles was also an accomplished runner, reaching “national master” status over the course of 50 years in the sport. He was passionate about coaching high school and college track.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Susan; sons, Charles Jr. and Matthew; daughters, Natalyn and Julie; and brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Dona Tucker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Tucker.

A Celebration of Life reception will be held at a future date.
