Carol Susan Powell

Carol Susan Powell, 78, of Stuart, Florida, passed away under the tender loving care of Treasure Coast Hospice on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Carol was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 4, 1946, to Jesse R. Wingerter and Helen (nèe Fischer) Wingerter. She graduated from Livingston High School and attended Riverview Academy in 1964, and North Eastern Bible College 1965 - 1968. She was a Church Sunday School teacher, Camp Counselor at Pioneer Girls in 1968, Hotel Waitress, Receptionist / Clerk and Typist for Wingerter Laboratory, Volunteer Aide at Perry Middle School, and Retired School Teacher.

She was preceded in death by her spouse: David Richard Powell, Her parents: Jesse R. Wingerter and Helen Fischer, Her son Stephen Powell, and her Daughter Susan H. Powell Ray.

Carol is survived by four Grandchildren: Phillip Powell, Daniel Powell, Kathryn Powell, and Logan H. Ray. Multiple Relatives, too many to list.

Carol loved Country Music, Chocolate, and Wine. She went on a lot of Cruises and Baseball games with her son Stephen and Family. She enjoyed going to Church and shopping. Donated to the Church, Disabled Veterans, and Family Focus Magazine.
